Temporary Hold

Well my camera has completely given up and won't get my new one for another day or two. Poop. I've been borrowing Joe's I-phone when he's around but he's not always here and they're not always the best pictures. So I may or may not post much this week. The exciting part is that they new camera I'm getting is water proof up to 30 feet under water, so once I do get it it's going to be awesome!! It's also shock proof so I won't be stressed about dropping it. And hopefully since it's water proof, then it will keep the sand out too!! I'm so excited! Prepare yourself for some amazing pictures!! Until then, here's something cute to look at!

I AM a Baby!!

This past week, Kacie and I swapped the jumper chair for the exersaucer. Joli has decided that this is the greatest toy ever. I asked her what she was doing and she said she's a baby.

Wild Fun

Yesterday, Joli and I made an effort to beat the heat, and met one of my good friends that I used to work with at the day care center, with and her two little girls. We met at the Wild Animal Park in the little spray area. Joli enjoyed watching the balloon ride.

Yes that is my child getting sprayed by the alligator in her private parts!

Our friend's little girl was very sweet and let Joli drag her around the spray area.

They had such a great time together. The girls are only a few months apart and have been playing together since they were babies!

There were a ton baby animals at the park. These two baby elephants were adorable.

Once it started to get incredibly hot we decided to head towards the exit, but not before a quick ride on the carousel.

This morning Zeus decided to start exploring new heights.

Joe was so sweet and got me a massage today. Part of my afternoon to myself included a little shopping and I found and amazing deal on a bed frame, complete with head and foot board! It's so weird to not have our mattress on the floor anymore! It's been that way our entire relationship!

Fun and Not

Well the fever from teething was finally gone and we were looking forward to a nice afternoon at the pool. Joli kept herself busy by painting on the porch while I got our stuff ready.

She had trouble keeping it on the paper some times.

Finally we made it to the pool. Charlotte and Joli had a great time!

As always Joli made new friends.

We went over to Chris and Kacie's for dinner and the girls got a chance to wash the pool water off.

Joli just can't understand why she can't use Charlotte's cool toys!

We met Kacie at P.F. Chang's and Joli was so excited about the soup.
As we were walking around in the heat I noticed that Joli was starting to get a heat rash so we came home and spent the afternoon in the air conditioning. Joli had a good time wearing her new ears for her Halloween costume.

While Joli, Joe, and I played in Joli's room; Brody decided that he was going to take advantage of the situation.

The cats were all excited that they could cuddle up to me without the big dog around.

Zeus is such a weirdo.

On to another day.

Days of Fun

Yesterday we went school shopping for Brianna at the Outlets. We thought would last longer if she had something to take care of. So she got to bring her baby and stroller.
This morning we fired up the Pooh bubbles and it turns out that Brody likes them too!

Abby invited us to the beach and we just couldn't pass up an opportunity for some fun.

Brody had a great time in the sand.

This evening we had Chris and Kacie over for dinner, and Charlotte got to try out Joli's old jumper. She loved it. It took her a little while to figure out that if she jumped the music would go, then she started going nuts! Of course every time I talked to her she went nuts too!

Joli wasn't feeling very good today and had a slight fever so we told her that she could come sleep in our bed, but first we had to put on her new jammies!

Swimming, Birthday Party, and Charlotte!

Yesterday was a mildly busy day with a BBQ and swimming party. Joli had a wonderful time swimming with Joe, Brianna and I.
Today was our friend Isabella's birthday. They had an awesome party complete with a giant bounce house.

There was also a wonderful clown that did face painting. Here's the birthday girl.

Joli did a wonderful job holding still and some beautiful face paint.

Uncle Little Bear had a wonderful bouncing with all the girls.

The birthday girl was all about the birthday suit and a tutu. I think it's a fabulous outfit!

There was also a lot of bubbles which the girls thought should be used as bathwater.

Who says kids are the only ones that get to have fun?!

Our quiet little child had a wonderful time being a princess.

The clown was amazing with the girls!! She entertained the three two-year-olds for at least 45 minutes! Not one of them moved!

Then they moved on to music and the girls went nuts with the drums.

Isabella was so adorable. She looked like a tiny sumo wrestler in her bloomers!

The cake was an amazing ice cream cake. It was so yummy!

One of Isabella's birthday presents was this awesome doll house. It was so simple yet so perfect for these little girls. I see one in Joli's future!

The girls were so sweet with baby.
As always, boys will be boys. Joe, Jonas, Little Bear, and Justin almost couldn't wait for the kids to give up the jumper!

I would say I was worried that someone would get hurt, but I'm so used to it now.

Once they were all done there were remarks about how out of shape they all are. Aren't they supposed to be some kind of superheros?

This Potato Head was so neat. It came with two regular sized Potato Heads and two baby Potato heads, and then a ton of pieces to match. It was so fun to play with!

I can't believe that I have the girliest of girls. Joli was just loving the doll house.

Until she found the plastic drill that is. I think I need to investigate who she's been spending time with and what she's been watching!

Eventually she understood the proper use for a drill.

Leave it to the two-year-olds to come up with a fun new way to play with Potato Head!

After we left the birthday party we headed over to Chris and Kacie's because we just missed them so much!! Baylie and Brody finally got to meet. It will take time but eventually they will be best friends!

Charlotte doesn't seem to have grown a ton but she does seem to be doing a lot more. She still loves me though!

One of the things I'm most impressed by is how well she's starting to sit up. Kacie said she's only been doing this for about two days, but what a big girl!!

Joli was thrilled to have her surrogate family back, and to be back into all the fun things Kacie has to play with.

We're so happy they are home and I just love hugging on Charlotte again!
