Today we went to a 1st birthday party for Neil and Danisa's little boy, Landon! The kids absolutely LOVED their backyard. I see some archery equipment in our future!
I just could not get enough of this sweet little boy! He was mesmerized by all the people and things around him.
Markus loved him too! As much as he loves doing manly things, Markus just can't get enough of babies!
Markus also loves manly men! He was very happy today!
Apparently Landon doesn't like cake, or singing....
"Come on baby, baby. Just try it. You'll like it."
Eventually he started to warm up to the cake.
Markus had no problem with it, and I think he ended up with about four cupcakes when I wasn't looking!
Of course he didn't really end up eating them all...
Danisa's such a good mommy :)
Then the clean up crew came in.
Soon it was time for Landon to open his presents.
We brought him a whole bunch of Markus' toys that he was too old for. The first thing he opened he absolutely loved, and ended up playing with it for quite some time!
Markus had no problem showing Landon how to use his new toys.
The older kids had a good time having a wrapping paper fight with Mikey!
"Look at this cool thing, Daddy."
"No really, look closer."
Joli had a blast! There were a few kids her age and older, so she was totally goofy the whole time.

After most of the kids had gone home, Joli got a lesson in throwing knives. She loved it, of course!
Markus was probably the filthiest kid I've ever seen, but he sure had a blast! Landon thought he was very entertaining!
It was such a wonderful afternoon, and we had such a great time celebrating Landon's 1st birthday!
