Next week she gets to start ballet and I don't think I've ever seen her this excited. She's already "practicing".

Kindergym
Joli started a new gymnastics class last week. I think it is wonderful!! The difference in this class and the last one is that it is an older age group and the parents don't have to participate. Not that I didn't enjoy doing the class with Joli, but as my belly grows the more difficult it is to spot and lift my three year old. Joli is also learning important things in the new class such as waiting in line, staying with the group, and following a circuit. Here are a few pictures of Joli in her new class.

It's Safe To Say...
That I am hoping for a boy.
Not that I don't have every intention of putting all of them (except the "Little Brother") on a girl if that's what we have, but if I'm being honest then I'm going to admit that I head straight for the adorable Rock'N'Roll and Skull stuff in the boys department every time I enter a store.
In an effort to track my progress and show off the cute new shirt Joe bought me, I had him take a few shots of me this afternoon.

Home With Family
Apparently San Diego didn't get the message that it is January and therefore one of the coldest months of the year, because it has been between 75 and 80 degrees every day this week. Which I'm fairly certain is the reason why Joli has settled into a new routine of coming home, going into her bedroom and then stripping down to her undies. The only time she has clothes on at home is when she finds something she wants in the dress-up box.
Outside the house we have managed to keep clothes on her, which is nice for other people.
Buffy
I received a call this morning saying that my family's dear dog, Buffy, had passed on.
I think Elena was about 4yrs old in this picture and she just celebrated her 18th birthday. Needless to say, Buffy had a nice long life.
She's been there through a lot of happy and hard times.
A truly loyal dog that somehow always knew who needed her the most.

A Quick New Year's Trip
Joe got a wild hair on Tuesday and decided we needed to drive up to Redding for New Year's. So we spent most of Tuesday rushing around trying to get our stuff ready and spending some more time with Brianna before we dropped her off at home. Zeus didn't think she should leave.

Brody has gotten a little too big for his crate but we haven't had the funds to by a new one. So our solution was to not shut the door to the crate all the way while we were driving to give him a little more stretch room. Which meant that every time we stopped he had to check out what was going on.

There were a few "run and play in a field" stops. It was great for both dog and child.

Sam and Ashley just got a Wii system so that was pretty much ALL that was done while we were visiting.

We had a few meals out and since it was New Year's, those that could, had a few drinks.

We were somewhat unsure about this strange wet substance that kept falling from the sky.

It was really fun having another preggo to share some ice cream with! Most of the time we were there the boys would just look at us when it came to decide where we would go eat. They had given up on making suggestions.

Finally we made it up and enjoyed some more time with family.

Joli needed to show us her celebratory Shirley Temple.
New Year's Eve was mostly just spending time with family and friends.
