A Fun Hike

We've been doing so many fun family activities, but most of them are things that didn't include Brody. So on Saturday we decided to take everyone hiking! We had some lunch when we first got there.

Then we loaded up for our hike.

Joli was so excited that she was allowed to pick the flowers!

It was such a beautiful.

Joli took off running towards the bridge and was so excited to walk on it, until I said "watch out for trolls", and she stopped immediately! Of course then I had to walk across with her.

Brody was so happy to be out in the wilderness.

Then we found a pond for Brody to play in. He was so happy.

Markus loved riding on daddy.

Joe and Joli had a good time climbing.

We made Joli lay in the flowers. She thought it was a little weird.

We came across a giant log and Joli and I decided to climb it.

Joe, Markus, and Brody sat down for a drink.

It was such a wonderful day!

A Blazin' Hot Day!

It's been such a warm week, Abby and I met at the beach to cool off with the kids! It's been awhile since we've had a good beach day, and today was that day! The kids and I got their early and played for awhile before the rest of our group showed up.

What a sweet big sister.

Markus wasn't all too sure about the crashing waves.

Then Syrus and Lilly and Abby showed up. Syrus and Joli hadn't seen each other in a month! They were so happy to be playing together again!

Markus was very happy to see our friends!

Abby brought a boogie board for the kids and they LOVED it!

Markus, Lilly and I just watched.

It's hard being out in the sun all day!

Then everyone came in to warm up. They remind me of three little puppies in blankets.

Such a fun day!
