Naps, Rain, and Football

What started out as a lazy day turned into an active, cold and wet one. Joli and I got up and ate breakfast, went for a little run and then went back to bed for a couple hours. Once we finally got up I bundled her up and we played outside until the rain started. I think she was a little confused since the only experiences in which she can remember water falling, have been in the bath tub. The rain only continued and gained speed as the afternoon continued. It really had built up right about the time we showed up for William's football game. For anyone who has never had an experience of trying to hold an umbrella, a purse, blanket and screaming wiggling child; I don't recommend it. Eventually Joli fell asleep and the rest of the game was much more peaceful. We then played in the car for a little while until William came out of the locker room, and then we headed out for pizza. Another exciting day!
