A Flowery Afternoon

We took a trip up to the Carlsbad Flower Fields today and as much as it was pretty, it was soooooo hot! Even the ocean breeze was hot! We stayed for a little while. They were having a Blue Grass Festival which meant fun music, and they have a cute little play area that Joli had a good time playing in. This is the little playhouse.

This was one of the play structures. Joli was showing Joe what a strong little girl she is.

Then off they went to check out more fun things.

This was the best picture of the three of us. It took forever to get Joli to smile and then of course once she does I decide not to. Oh well, we look cute.

This is Kacie and Chris. They went with us on our fabulously hot adventure.
As we were walking back to the exit I decided the skip to the music with Joli.
After about an hour or so we decided it was too hot and went out to Red Robin for some good food and some A/C!
