Joli was sad, but like the rest of us, didn't really believe it.
We ran errands to get last minute things.
We cuddled as often as we could.
There was a lot of hugging.
Of course we had to make a trip to Souplantation.
Afterwards we headed to the park.
Joe and Joli had a great time!
We walked down to the bay.
I got to teach Joli a thing or two about soccer.
Markus worked on his neck muscles.
Joe and Joli talked about the important things in life.
The next day Joe was feeling nice and painted Joli's nails!
Then we headed to Coronado for a picnic.
Joe and Joli chatted through the playground phone.
Markus and I followed with the camera.
After frozen yogurt and dinner at home, we watched movies together and then got ready for bed. Markus didn't really want to go to bed, he wanted to hang out and smile at daddy.
We all cuddled together and got some sleep before getting up to take Joe to work. Markus wasn't quite sure why we were up so early.
He smiled and laughed anyway.
Joli and I were still kind of in denial. It's been so long since Joe's gone anywhere!
We will miss him so much and can't wait for him to be home again!!
