Pumpkins and Jumpies

Every year we head out to one of our favorite spots and the kids play while I get to relax on a blanket and watch. Well this year half the county decided to come, and I ended up spending most of my time either consoling Markus because he got hurt, or reminding him to be careful because he bumped into someone else. It was not really the relaxing experience we'd hope for, but I got my annual picture!

Bates Nut Farm

Yesterday I kept Joli home from school so we could have a little field trip to the pumpkin patch. There were a ton of school groups there when we got there, so we went and saw the animals first.

 Then we sat and ate our lunch while we waited for the buses to leave.

 Since the lines for activities were still pretty long, we went and picked out our pumpkins.

 We had to get our annual picture on the Big Macs!

 We paid for our pumpkins and took them to the car, and then it was time for the activities! 

 We checked out the winners of the scarecrow contest.

 Then rode some ponies!

 Next was the hay ride!

 Finally, we went to the store to get some drinks for the rode.

 We ended up with some awesome pumpkins!

 And a place for our gnomie!

It was a fun day!

Family Fun Day!

Today we had the awesome opportunity to spend some time at a camp! It was such a great family day!

 The playground was AMAZING! Joe and I had a great time just hanging out together while the kids played and played.

 The kids loved practicing archery!

The kids had a blast!!
