"A Little Love of the Family"

Apparently Markus thinks the couch is a much better place to sleep than in a bed. He's been sleeping on the couch most of the time.
Since William had a game today, we headed over to see him, Sam, Ashley, and Berkley. Sam was working on the garage apartment when we got there and Joli thought it was so fun to make shadow puppets in the spotlight.
Markus was so excited to see some of the men in his life!

Markus was also excited to have some new toys to play with.
Joli was so excited to Berkley! She's been asking about her for weeks.

We were joking about what it would be like to have twins, so we all took turns holding both babies. They were heavy.
Berkley has all kinds of fun things to play with, including fun headbands!
Joli wanted to have a turn too.
Auntie Ashley is so silly.

The kids were so cute playing together on floor.

Berkley's such a cutie!

This time while visiting Sam and Ashley, Ashley made my hair dark! So exciting!
Once we were all ready, we headed to dinner and Joe called! Joli was so excited to hear from her daddy.
Berkley was excited too, and woke up to see everyone.
After dinner we finally made it to William's game. Joli still remembers the last game she went to, two years ago!
Berkley was little crabby so it was hard to get a smile out of her.
Markus just wanted to eat through his mittens.
Since William is a freshmen this year, he doesn't get to play too often, but it was still fun to see him out there.

Joli was really excited to see there was popcorn at the snack bar. This is her "please" face.
To keep her busy I kept telling her to go down and try to find Uncle William, it took forever.
Then Joli got cold and I ended up holding two babies.
So she cuddled with Grammi instead.
Then we went and waiting for William to come by on the way to the locker room.
This picture is a little fuzzy but Joli was so cute how excited she was to see William.
Another fun day!

Uptown Girl

Today was the town's Halloween event, so we all got dressed up in our our costumes. Joli was a flying fairy!
I tried to pull off the Goth thing since I have so much black, but I'm just a little bit too cheery.
Joli was a beautiful little fairy as usual.
Papa and Grammi were both pirates, but Papa thought he needed to have a crow.
Markus tends to slip into a coma-like state when Papa carries him around.
Since we still had some time before the Halloween event began, we went out to eat.
Then we finally made it uptown. Since we had filled half of Joli's candy basket, we decided to sit down and eat a few pieces.
Markus slept through most of our trick or treating event.
There were a few dance numbers that we stopped to watch.
Joli danced throughout most of the afternoon.
Markus was still pretty tired.
Then there was a costume contest. Joli was explaining how to work the crowd.
This little fairy was like a mini-Joli. She actually had that same dress when she was a baby!
We stopped for another snack.
Then Markus decided he wanted to finally wake up. He played with Papa's treasures.
Like my little added accessory?
Markus and Grammi were communicating in baby language.
Markus thought my sucker looked pretty yummy.
So I let him try it. I pretty much had to pry it out of his mouth and fingers.
He still loves me though.
Such a fun little Halloween day!
