Our Pictures Are Done!!!

In my quest to make sure I had plenty of belly shots this pregnancy, we decided to hire someone to come over and do a mini-photo shoot for us. Kacie does Stroller Strides with a woman named Jenna Rowe who happens to be a professional photography, and she is awesome!! To see the pictures that she put on her site go HERE, click on ENTER SITE, then CLIENTS, and then Dawson Family at home. And here are some of my favorites (although they were all so awesome it was really hard!).

This picture was actually taken of Joe and I just a few days after we started dated, but it looks so much like this next picture I had to put it in for comparison.

It's so nice to have some good family and belly pictures!!! Can't wait to frame some!

Ferry Landing

Abby and I decided we wanted to take the kids on a ferry ride across the bay and have some lunch at Ferry Landing. The big kids thought it was awesome! On the way over we say sea lions and dolphins!

Lilly wavered back and forth between liking it and not really caring all that much.
Once off the boat we had to take some time to run and play.

Then we went to check out the fountains.
Kacie didn't think Charlotte would care all that much about the boat ride so they just met us on the other side.

As usual it was hard to get everyone to look at the camera at once.
Joli and Syrus found a "play area". We didn't' realize for til about 20 minutes that they weren't actually supposed to be over there. Oh well.

It was a very nice outing. Hopefully next time we'll be able to go the other way and go to Seaport Village!

Making Memories

People always talk about the kind of days that you will remember for the rest of your life. Well today was one of those days. We all had such a great time! Brody started out just wanted some shade.
Joli couldn't wait to play with Charlotte's sand toys, and actually started asking me about it last night.
Brody settled for what he could get.
Joli was smart and took advantage of Chris and Kacie's umbrella.
Eventually Brody just wanted to be near us and didn't care about the shade as much.
I've been looking at some artistic photos recently and decided I wanted to play around with the camera and see what I could come up with. This is one of my favorites.
Of course belly pictures area always nice and I just LOVE this bathing suit!
Joe was all about playing with Joli today and she absolutely LOVED it!!
She also thought it was funny to fill his hole as he was digging it.
So he put her in the hole.
Then they dug a new one and both got in.
Isn't he just the silliest daddy!?!
Brody wasn't quite sure why he couldn't help dig the holes. I don't think he realizes that this isn't the doggie beach and technically he's not supposed to be on it!
Joe and Joli were having so much fun that Chris decided to join in and make a sand city.
Eventually Joli smash it and it turned into a wrestling pit.
They all worked together so well!
Eventually they dug down far enough that the hole started filling up with water. So they put Joli in it.
Charlotte didn't really want to be in the hole, so she tried to talk Brody into sharing a bite of sand.
Here are a few more of my artistic belly shots.

Now we are all clean and napping or relaxing in our own way.

More Fishing and Dinner by the Bay

Here are a few more pictures that I found from Joe and Joli's fishing trip.

After Joli took a nap we took our dinner over to a nice little park by the bay. Joe and Joli had a great time running around in the sun.
Joe was trying to teach Joli how to walk on her hands. She didn't quite get it.
There was a lot of games of tag. Joli liked being chased more than chasing. Every time she would run towards Joe to chase him, she would change her mind and then start running the other way.

I wanted to make Joli a special sandwich, so here is her fish-shaped turkey and cheese.
This made it easier for Joli to walk on her hands.
This was right before Joe fell over.
And this is him comforting Joli after he landed on her.
Nothing better than dancing on a platform.

Chris and Kacie finally showed up to join us for dinner. Charlotte still hasn't started walking but she does pretty well with some support.
She liked this plan much better though!
After Charlotte fell face first into the grass we told Joli that should couldn't move the wagon unless Charlotte was sitting.
It was another lovely day.
