Grandma Betty's

This morning Joli woke up and decided she was going to have a tea party. She was singing a song that went "Today's the day, a very sad day, but we'll make it better with TEA!"
Markus found the remote control cars and they kept him busy for awhile.
Then he "helped" me wash the Jeep.

Then of course he had his picture taken on it, after HE did all the work!
We sat on the porch for awhile and had some ice tea.

Then it was time to go to Grandma Betty's!
My dad was working hard, cleaning of the roof of the garage.
Grandma Lori took Joli off to explore.

Markus was a little afraid of the cow. He just looked at her.
Then ran off to the house.
Joli was not afraid of the cow, and helped me feed her some apples.

My Jeep looks so pretty in the country :D
We came back to find the grandmas and Markus swinging on the porch.

Papa Paul finished his work and we started to get ready to go to the river!

The kids played with the trains Papa Paul had in his truck while everyone changed.

Then we headed down to the park! It's the same river that I swam in when I was a child, and my dad did when he was a child! It was so fun talking about old memories and watching the kids there!

Joli was such a little daredevil, and let me say that the water was not warm! I think at one I questioned whether there was still snow in it!
But I had to get in and swim with her anyway!

Then they were cold and wanted to go back to grandma's.

When we got to the driveway, Uncle Bob and cousin Micheal were working on getting an old truck out. We called it Mater :)

We looked at the neighbors beautiful garden while we waited.
Then Joli decided she was just going to walk up the driveway.

After relaxing in grandma's house for awhile, we decided we were going to head to the A&W for some dinner. But not before stopping to see Uncle Roy. He wasn't home, but we used his trampoline for a few minutes.

Their dog was so sweet, and just gave the kids great big hugs!

We had a nice dinner, but were all pretty tired. My dad didn't even really talk!
After we finished our food we headed back to Aunt Karen's to relax in the hot tub and then off to bed!
