Across the Bay and Back

This morning I wanted to take Markus on a bike ride, but a fun one! So we started at the ferry.

We have rode the ferry in quite sometime, and Markus had all kinds of questions about where it was going and what we would see when we got there.

After a few minutes, Markus decided he wanted to go upstairs for a better look.

We also had a snack while we waited to get going.

Once we got to the other side of the bay, Markus rode his bike down past the Midway, where he said he wanted to see the statues. We sat and talked about who Bob Hope was for awhile. Markus was in awe.

As he rode past this statue he said "There's the husband loving his wife" :)

We talked about what could live in the water for awhile.

Then we climbed trees!! 

He played peek-a-boo.

Lots of hide-n-seek.

Slid down the "slide".

On our way back to the ferry Markus went on and on about the "helicarrier", and how it must have been a very old one because it didn't even have the fans to hold it up!

We got back a little early, so we sat and talked about the boats for awhile.

Once we made it back to our, we made a stop at the grocery store for Markus to get some groceries. 

He did a pretty great job!

He looks so grown up all the sudden!

It was an exhausted and wonderful day!

Sunday Morning Walk

Yesterday our goal was to get the dogs some exercise and take them someplace cooler. It was a beautiful day!
