Free Museum Day!!

Today we had the wonderful pleasure of having Ryan spend the day with us! Since Joli was in school, I decided to take the little ones the Balboa park for Free Museum Tuesday!
Our first stop was the science museum. It was completely nuts, and for some reason there was a group of elementary students in the 5 and under area, knocking over small children in their quest to collect all the balls in the room. I ended up either holding Ryan and staying within inches of Markus, or trying to keep them both confined to a less crowded area.

Once it became apparent that the older kids were not going to be leaving, we decided to start making our way out of the building.
Both the kids were excited about the fountain and the birds!

There were a few other museums that I wanted to see, but I thought it'd be good to have a little lunch first. So after sanitizing the table, the kids chowed down!

We were headed to the railroad museum when Markus saw the dinosaur on the Natural History Museum, and since it was free today too, we went to see some dinosaurs!
There were lots of fun places to play in the Natural History Museum.

We finally made it to the railroad museum and I found myself wishing we had hours to stay! The kids LOVED it!

Markus was so adorable with the other little boys!

Ryan was getting a little tired, but she was still mesmerized by the trains.
 I just love his enthusiasm!

She was so sleepy, but too fascinated to sleep.

We headed to pick up Joli, eat the rest of lunch, and then get the little ones down for a nap. They both slept for two and half hours!! Afterward they snuggled together and watch a few cartoons.
While I finished dinner, the kids played on the porch. Markus has found a new favorite place to lounge.

With Joli in school I didn't get very many pictures of her. Here's one!
Here's a great one of the love between siblings!
Such a fun day!!

Cute pics. I was looking at the pics and thinking "think about how different your mothering experience would have been if Markus has been your first instead of second child".... love the last pic of hugs/get her off of me! LOL
