Playing with My Little Boy

It's always fun to spent some quality time with Markus. Since Joli went back to school today and hates going to the zoo, I took Markus! He loves seeing the animals!!

 

 All the bears were out and playing today, so we spent some time talking to them.

 Before heading home, we went to visit the snakes, This one was so crazy!

 Markus decided to pretend to be a snake...

 The turtles were pretty exciting. They're so amazing!

Such a fun morning! Markus was super sweet and there were no tantrums!!

More Decorating

We woke up on Saturday ready to decorate the outside of the house. The kids cuddled in Joli's room for a little while before breakfast.

 

 It took us several house, but Joe and I worked together and got the house looking nice!

 Joli helped as much as a little girl can...

 Now that our house feels like Christmas, we've started watching our favorite Christmas movies too!

O' Christmas Tree

After everyone got ready, Mom and Elena headed to Grandpa and Grandma's and we headed to the Christmas tree farm! After a snuggle that is.

 

 It was not as cold this year as it was last year. In fact, I was sweating! It was still nice out there though.

 After taking a small tour, we found the one to be ours!

 We watched them cut it down.

 Then put it on the quad.

 Then we hiked back to the truck.

 Where there were snacks and shade!

 We took a picture with our tree, and then Abby, her mom, and her kids showed up! So we chatted with them for a quite awhile before heading home.

 Then Joe set to work getting it just the right height for our living room.

 Joe was all about decorating, and I was more than excited to have a partner to share the work with!! I puttered around taking things out of boxes and finding a place for them, while he and the kids worked hard on the tree!

 It came out so beautifully!!

 We have such a ridiculous amount of stockings, but Joe hung them all up anyway. Looks really festive!

 Christmas pretty much threw up on anything that would hold still.

 And we found all the jingle colars!! Yay for Christmas pets! Joe made an adorable hat out of Brody's.
