Relaxing at Aunt Karen's

We've had a couple days this week where we weren't too busy, and were able to just relax, play, read. It's been nice! On Tuesday we woke up and the neighbors chickens had come for a visit.

"Where'd they go?"
The kids attempted picking berries, but that particular batch had worms in them. So they didn't get far.

This morning I took them over to find the blackberries that didn't have any bugs in them, and they were pretty happy about that.

We checked out Aunt Karen's pumpkins along the way.
Their garden is just amazing!! I hope to have all that garden growing someday!
Then we found the blackberries!
There were some pretty good squash growing as well.

I really need to plant this much, if not more, green beans! We love them!
Markus explored while I looked at the plants.

Again, my carrots look nothing like this!
Uncle Albert has been tending to these flowers, which are just gorgeous!!

We found two little raspberries too!
We cam back in the house and everyone was a little tired.

So nice to have some relaxing days!
