Rambo Takes the Stage

Today we had a great family day!

 We headed out to the range, where we played games.

 Then kids made themselves as filthy as possible.

 Then took some shots.

 Man I love that gun.

 Joli practiced loading her gun.

 Then she took some shots.

 Markus' arms are finally long enough for him to shoot, although the trigger is still a bit hard to pull.

 Then they shot the big gun.

 I had a turn too! That thing makes tiny holes, but exactly where you want them!

 Next it was time to clean up.

It was nice, cool, and breezy the whole time. The perfect day!

Apple Picking

Today we made the trip up to Julian to do some apple picking! We couldn't have asked for a better day. The temperature was 76 degrees and there was a nice breeze! It was great!

 My mom and brother were down for a visit and to go apple picking too!

 There were SO many apples!

 The apples were delicious, and we had a great time!

 After we picked all our apples, we headed down the road for some lunch!

 There weren't any crayons at the restaurant, so we had to improvise. 

 Then we found a pen and a napkin, and since Markus can write an "X" and an "O", he and Joli were able to play tic-tac-toe!

 There was also some lovely live music!

 We filled our bellies and enjoyed a nice drive home, then had to find places for all the apples....

Such a great day!

Joli's First Date

Tonight a "young" man came to the door to escort Joli to dinner and a dance...

 She was ecstatic! 

 She's been waiting for about seven months for a date with her Daddy! 

 Her brought her a corsage... 

 It was perfect for her!

 Joli loved getting all dressed up!

 They make a very cute couple!

Once I was done taking pictures, Joli ran and jumped in the car before Joe could even open her door! We're going to have to talk about not being so eager on a first date! Haha!
