Mandatory Retreat

Joe's work has a thing for providing us with mandatory events. We have learned that the best way to enjoy these events is to take advantage of the places the events are held at, and to ditch the seminars! Markus certainly thought this was a great plan!
The room we got was completely awesome! It's total luck of the draw which room you get put in and we totally scored! The bedroom looked pretty ordinary, just with leather.

But we also got a living room!! There was even a dining table!

Look at the bar! We used that a lot!

We even had a yard!

Syrus and Joli missed each other so much! Lilly missed her too!

It's so great that they love each other again!

After we put the big kids in day care we headed to dinner. Markus had a great time!

Abby and Shane had a fun night out!

Izzy and Joli loved having Nikki go down the awesome water slide with them.

Joli had such a great time! There were grown up slides too and Nikki went with me!

Syrus did awesome going down he slide by himself!

It was so fun playing on the slide with Joli!

We had a good time in the pool too!

Lilly is a stickler about sunscreen.

Markus enjoyed floating around the pool too.

Joli and Syrus enjoyed floating around the pool together.

Joli covered her legs in sand and said "look I'm a mermaid".

Markus loves his stroller.

Lilly is so funny!

It was a pretty great mandatory retreat!
