Markus was not too thrilled about the heat.
After awhile we decided that we had seen enough and headed to the pool to cool down.
After an afternoon of napping, we set out for Joe's work to watch the fireworks! We had a prime spot on the roof of his building, the only problem was there weren't any railings. So we made Joli stay within the perameters of the blanket, and tied Markus to a post!
He wasn't too thrilled by this.
He decided to go figure out how to untie it.
We had a fantastic view!
I brought us some red, white and blue dessert of strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream! The kids definitely enjoyed it!
Then we played with glow sticks for awhile.
Finally the show began!
We could see NINE different shows from where we were!
Such a fun day!!
