A Cold Night in Coronado

Last night there was a Christmas festival at the Del and we decided to meet our friends and check it out. Turns out we're not really prepared for cold weather here in San Diego. Joli had enough stuff but Markus doesn't even have a jacket and ended up with two long sleeved thermal shirts! At least they had hats!
For some reason I keep forgetting that Markus is not like Joli and can't just walk somewhere with us. He has to climb, jump, kick, or hit everything he comes across.

Eventually I got him going the right direction. But then we saw the fountain.

My camera must have been on the wrong setting because the pictures could have been much clearer!

Getting the kids to wait at the corner and then in the middle to cross the street was super fun (not!).

We finally made it to the Del.

There were some free games for the kids to play but there were also a million people. We only ended up playing one and Joli showed us that she has quite an arm!

She got to pick a prize and guess what she picked....

Markus thought the games were cool, but there were just too many kids for him to have a turn too.

We ended up leaving after about an hour because that's how long it took us to get through the crowd, figure out where Santa was, and that it would take about an hour and a half in line to see him! We'll just go to the mall!!
