A Trolley Adventure

Today we had the wonderful opportunity of taking the trolley down to Seaport Village with our neighbors!! Bob and Donna use the trolley all the time, and Teresa and her girls have been with them a few times, but this was our first time! We were so excited!!! The girls were SOOOOOOOO happy to see each other!

Markus was ecstatic to be on the trolley that we see all the time!

Once we got downtown we walked a couple blocks down to Seaport Village.
This was so funny! Not even sure what to think of it.
The girls were so sweet, and they giggled the entire day!

The first thing the kids did was climb a tree, which we were surprised to discover was covered in mud and nasty stuff. Teresa's poor girls ended up covered in it!
There was an awesome kite flyer, and the kids had such a great time trying to catch it.

The man was super sweet and let Paola and Joli fly the kite.

We started walking toward the food court and came across a man with his birds. He asked the kids if they wanted to hold one, and of course Joli wanted to hold the biggest one!
Paola asked to hold the pretty orange one.
Anna held the pretty orange one too.
Markus watched all this happen, and decided he must do it too!
Then he asked to hold the big one! It was almost as big as he is!
Paola decided she wanted to do it too!
Paola and Joli were attached to each other from the moment we got to the trolley station! They were so sweet!
Bob and Donna were amazingly sweet and treated us all to lunch. We very much enjoyed it!
The girls of course giggled through every bite!
Markus decided sitting with mommy was no fun, and crawled under the table to cuddle up to Teresa. He was so funny!
Markus just laughed and laughed every time the girls did.
What a goofball.
It was pretty warm out and we still had to walk back to the trolley station, so we started heading that way.

On the trolley ride back Markus wanted to check out where the driver sits, so Mr. Bob took him over to check it out.
The girls whispered and giggled some more.
Then they pretended they were surfing every time the trolley moved.
Markus was a little tired but wasn't about to fall asleep, so he just lounged in my lap.
We all got some ice cream once we got off the trolley. By the time we got home the kids were so quiet, and happy just to read some books and watch tv. It was such a wonderful day!!!!
