At the Dunes!

We had a wonderful weekend at the dunes with our good friends! We arrived Friday evening and Markus immediately jumped into the sand.
He had a rough time with his listening skills most of the weekend. Spent a lot of time in time out.
After a little while we went into the motor home and Dave made us dinner! Joli was very excited that she was going to get to sleep in the loft bed this time!
Markus was just happy to play in it!
The next morning the kids were up and ready to go with the sun!
The big boys were ready to go out and play, and Markus was sure he needed to be with them!
We were very excited to have Patti come out this time, and Joli loved talking with her and learning from her!
Markus was intrigued with Joli's knitting lesson.
Joe had a great time relaxing and hanging with the guys.

Before the guys headed out to ride for awhile, they took the kids for a little ride. They were thrilled!

They came back, unloaded the kids, and headed off for big boy riding.

While they were gone we had lunch and some movie/quiet time.
After a couple hours the kids were ready to head back outside.

We decided to take a little walk to the store so I could get a Pepsi.
We saw the guys on the way so Markus was anxious to get back.
Joli was happy to collect pretty rocks with Patti.
Before it got dark, Joe took Markus to dump some of our trash. Markus said it was too loud.

So he took Joli for a little ride!
The big boys were breaking some wood for the fire and Joli thought she'd be able to as well...
As the sun went down, the moon came up, and it was quite beautiful.

Markus continued to pretend he was much bigger than he is.
Eventually the kids went to sleep and the rest of us got to enjoy the fire in peace!

Noah had to get their air mattress blown up, and since he didn't have the right pump, he had to blow it up himself! It was rather entertaining to watch!
It was nice to have out without the kids!
We had so much wood in the fire that we started seeing what things would melt in. It was incredibly hot and incredibly beautiful.

The next morning the kids were up and ready to greet the sun, but this time not until 8am! Markus was he alter-ego.
The owner of the RV park came over to talk with us and let us pet his dogs. The kids loved it.
Joe also fished out the bottle we put in the fire the night before to see what it looked like...
It was such a fun weekend with great friends!
