Water Conservation Garden

One of the things Laume wanted to do while she was here was to go take pictures somewhere. We decided to try and find a garden and looked up one that's not too far from our house. We had no idea what to expect since we'd never heard of it before, but we figured we'd try it out anyway. We were pleasantly surprise at how BEAUTIFUL it was!! There was a lot for the kids to look at, and climb on, and smell, and enjoy!

Markus wanted to know what the angel was reading...
So they all read it together.

The kids LOVED the water. Especially since it was a glorious 73 degrees out!

Markus was in complete awe at the "Jurassic Garden". There was a little sand box with fake dinosaur bones, t-rex prints, and various other things that were simply fascinating to a small child.

There were lizards everywhere, which was also very entertaining.

I love this bunny. He was made out of Rosemary, so I named him "Rosemary's bunny" :D

We found the amphitheater in the back (which was beautiful), and the kids put on a show for us!

Then we headed back towards the front.

 "Monster baby!"
 I love this pretty flower!
We stopped at the pond near the entrance, where the kids where just mesmerized with the frogs/tadpoles that were mid-transformation. It was so neat to see these big fat frog bodies that still had tails and the beginnings of legs or none at all. We found a nice spot in the shade to watch and answer questions.

Laume wanted her picture taken with these water pipes on the way out.

It was such a beautiful little garden and so close to our house!!
