Wonderful Friends, Family, and Egg Hunt!

Abby & Shane were once again wonderful hosts, and had us and their whole neighborhood over for brunch and an egg hunt!! The kids absolutely love going over there, and were thrilled when I told them we were. Since Joe, Papa, GG, and her boyfriend were with me, I had several eyes to help me with Markus! Plus Shane & Abby had a TON of stuff set up for the kids to play with.

Sadie was just as cute and sweet as ever (although she's grows twice her size every couple weeks!).

Nadia is always happy to see us, especially little boys that give her food.
It was so nice to have my hubby with me this time!
Markus was a wild child, as usual, but he had a great time and managed to mostly stay out of trouble!
Someone made some awesomely adorable cupcakes!

Joli and Lilly are such good friends. They had a great time listening to music and dancing on Lilly's bed.
Markus enjoyed practicing the bean bag game.

Then it was time to eat some cupcakes! Markus ate his right on Papa's lap.

Joe enjoyed getting together with some of the guys, and doing the bean bag toss.
Then it was time for the egg hunt! Markus wasn't really sure what that meant, but he got in line anyway.

It took me quite a bit of time to get him to understand the concept.

I was super excited to wear my new shoes! I've been looking for white sandals, and since I fit into little girl's sizes, I found these (for $10 less than women's!)!

Then we went back to Abby's yard to eat the candy!

Joe enjoyed playing with a sweet puppy for awhile.
Markus just loves Sadie, and they're about the same size now!

Abby and I tried to get a picture of the kids together to send to Kacie. They didn't really cooperate....

Markus started to get a little weepy towards the later part of the afternoon, and since he didn't have any kind of a nap, it was not too surprising. He did enjoy snuggling up to Abby and telling her about it though.
We had such a great afternoon! I'm kicking myself for not getting a picture with me and my mom though! I actually thought it and meant to, and then I think Markus hit someone or threw something, again... Bummer!

Easter Bunny & Painting Eggs

The kids were super excited to get up and see what the Easter bunny brought them, but I did my absolute best to keep them in bed until Joe was ready to get up.

Finally it was time, and they were SO excited!!

This year, instead of dyeing Easter eggs, I thought the kids might have fun painting them like they do in all the movies. They were super excited! Plus with Markus' minimal level of patience, I didn't figure he'd wait for them to be dyed.

These were Joli's.
 These were Markus'.
I painted a couple too, just for fun.
