Charlotte's Birthday!

This morning was Charlotte's 3rd birthday party! We had such a great time! The theme was bubbles and of course all the kids loved it!

Chris spent the last week practicing his culinary skills, and I have to say he did a pretty good job!

Joe was pretty much super daddy. He blew up balloons, chased them when they blew away, pushed kids on swings, caught them when they fell, got them bagels and fruit, threw them in the air and wrestled with them!

Markus kept laying on the balloons and biting them. Then he couldn't figure out why they would pop!

Caroline pretty much slept through the entire party!

Syrus and Joli spent most of their time spinning. They miss seeing each other now that they're both in school.

"Hmmmm, should I try it?"

Then it was time to sing "Happy Birthday", which Charlotte very much does not like!

Chris also made TONS of cupcakes! They were so delicious!

Markus' obsession with babies is just about the sweetest thing ever. He saw this little guy and laid right down next to him and started chatting him up!

Eventually it got pretty close to nap time, and it was hard to tell who's kid was crying. Birthday girl was pretty burnt out.

So was our little man.

"MAMA!!!!"

"Oh wait, where's daddy!?!?"

After Markus got bubbles in his eyes, we decided we were all ready for a nap! It was such a good nap too. Then we got up and spent another couple hours with Joe before he had to head back out to the desert.

We will miss him :(
