Painting With Berkley

Before Sam and Ashley brought Bailor home, I wanted to help Berkley make something special to welcome them. She was pretty much in shock that I was letting her do whatever she wanted with the paint! It took her a bit to realize I was totally cool with a mess! Grammy and I are very good at encouraging messy behaviour :D

 

 She started out just using her finger tips.

 Then we showed her that she could make a print with her whole hand.

 Grammy showed her that she could smack and smear the paint, she was even more surprised!

It was so fun watching Berkley make a mess, and she was so proud of her work! The sign came out absolutely adorable, and Mommy and Daddy loved it!

A Little More Baby Time

We had a great time with the family at Sam and Ashley's. It was so nice passing around two sweet girls and sharing stories.

 

 Before Joe and I headed off for our little honeymoon, he spent a little more time making an impact on Berkley.

 Also soaking up a little Bailor time.

 Then he gave her to me (YAY!).

 After snuggling her for awhile, she made her way to Grammy and soaked up a little sunshine.

 Then Grammy snuggled with two of her babies!

Such wonderful family time!

Baby Coming Home!!

On Monday Sam and Ashley got to bring sweet Bailor home!

 

 Grammy and I did our best to keep Berkley occupied while she waited to greet her baby sister. We took her shopping and to the book store.

 We also made a sign to greet her family when they came home!

 Berkley was so excited to see her Mama!

 And daddy and sister too!!

 Berkley is absolutely in love with her baby sister (just wait till she starts crawling!).

 Grammy got Berkley to let her have a turn with the baby.

 Berkley showed her Mama her new book Grammy bought her.

 Then I got a chance to play with the baby a little.

 Bailor got to wear her new hat from Grammy. So cute!!

 Joe attempted to play chase with Berkley, which scared her more than I've ever seen a child before in my life!!! So he decided to bribe her with fruit snacks to get her to like him again.

 After she got a little booby drunk, I took Bailor into my play photo studio :)

 Despite my best efforts, the room was chilly and the subject wanted her mommy.

 She was soothed slightly once we got her dressed again. Grammy talked to her for a little while and then took her back to the booby.

 Berkley relaxed with a little quiet time, which gave Bailor a little quiet time.

 The boys also had some quiet time.

 Sleeping babies are so wonderful!

 These girls are sure to be best friends!

 Daddy just loves his babies!
