Happy Halloween!!

Could not get the song "Witchy Woman" out of my head!

 

 My little faerie girl.

 To keep them occupied until Trick-or- Treating, they got to decorate a cookie.

 This is my new favorite way to frost cookies.

 Then we carved our pumpkins!

 

 

 After a quick dinner it was time for costumes and Trick-or-Treating. Finally got Bat Boy to wear a costume!

 They were so excited to go.

The Witch and Mr. Clean

 Markus knew just what to do.

 He kept running and screaming "Trick-or-Treating!!!". At one house that didn't answer the door, he yelled "It Halloween! Trick-or-Treating!!".

 They could hardly contain themselves, and just kept right on going!

 It's only once a year, right......

 Once we were home, we lit all the pumpkins! This is Joli's.

 This is Markus'.

 This is mine.

 This is Joe's.

 "Sugar!"

 Our house looked pretty cool.

 The kids had a blast handing out candy.

 Joli said it's just as fun as Trick-or-Treating!

 Of course we had to have our traditional graveyard pudding!

 After the kids pigged out for awhile, they took a bath and then we watched Casper before they were off to bed. It was such a fun night!

Just Playing

Joe and I took the kids to the park today and we had so much fun!! At first they ran their separate ways. Markus went right to the swings.

 

 Joli is always wanting to spin, and it's great when Daddy does it too!

 Markus loves this weight distribution thing, and wanted us all to get on it.

 So we did!

So much fun!

Halloween Fun

Today we went to Abby's to have a little Halloween party. Markus didn't want to wear his Batman costume, but he did want to wear his Max costume.

 

 I have several costumes, but today I wanted Pirate!

 Joli makes such an adorable cat. She dresses up in it and plays with the cats often.

 When we got to Abby's the kids decorated cookies! Markus and I made them this morning (which was NOT fun), and he'd been asking for them ever since!

 Once we loaded them with sugar, we went outside to play in the yard.

 The kids had a lot of fun trying to bob for apples.

 A bunch of the neighbor kids were over, and the kids had a great time playing!

 Joli loved bobbing for apples, and just kept coming back for more.

 Once it got dark we went to a little dance at the Rec center and the kids had a blast! Markus said "Dance, dance, dance!!!".

 Syrus loved wearing his costume.

 Joli made a ton of friends and LOVED dancing with Lilly.

 Markus was so happy to be with Abby. He asks for her almost daily!

 Joli also met a boy, who was so sweet and asked if she'd like to dance.
