Today Abby and I had a ditch day with the kids, and took them all apple picking! Life experiences for all, yay!! The drive up there is always so much fun.
In true form, Markus immediately pulled out his lazy card and hopped in the wagon. At least Joli helped pull it a little.
The kids were so excited to see each other! We really miss our friends. Abby and I were saying how weird it was not to have Kacie and Charlotte with us too :(

Joli didn't want to wear her hat, but she looked so stinkin' cute in it!
The apples weren't too big, but they were yummy, and it was really more about the experience anyway.

Tried to get Markus to walk. Yeah, right.
Such a stinker.
We started to get pretty warm, so we decided to go into town and get some ice cream.
The kids were having so much fun chatting at the table.
The boys were loud and silly.
The girls were giggly with whispers.
Then the ice cream came. Syrus devoured his!
Markus was a mess, but loved it!
Joli is always goofy.
Lilly was quietly silly.
The kids were so crazy, the were taking turns trying each other's, and doing "cheers".
Eventually every one finished but Joli, so we made her bring it with her to get crazy Markus out of the restaurant. We did a little window shopping.
And just goofed around for awhile.
The kids were pretty worn out at this point, so we sadly said our goodbyes and headed home. The first thing we did was wash our apples.
We cut a couple in half and did some paint stamping.
The kids pretty much loved it.
Between apple picking and the Farmer's Market, we are set in the fruit department!
Such a fun day!
