Bates Nut Farm

One of the things we wanted to be able to do with Joe was go pick out our pumpkins, so today worked out to be a good day to do it! The kids were really excited to ride the ponies and the hay ride!

Markus loved it so much, he cried all the way out of the corral. Luckily I reminded him that we were going to go on the "tractor ride".

Markus was all about proving his strength by pushing over the big pumpkins, regardless if his sister was on them or not!
We wanted to get our annual family photo, so Joe loaded up the kids and we headed out to the big patch!

Everyone was very happy and cooperative this year!(As long as they got to sit on their own pumpkin!)
Then the hay ride came back around and we hopped on!

After our hay ride we went over to check out the farm animals. The geese were very loud.

The goats were a big hit and were very sweet eating out of the kid's hands.

We had a to get a picture of Jack Skeleton!

Then someone was nice enough to get a picture with us and the big jack-o-lanterns!
Finally it was time to pick our pumpkins!

Markus once again had something to prove. We were able to convince him to ride in the wheel barrow and let Joe push though.
Such a wonderful afternoon, and we're so grateful Joe was here to share it with us!
