An Exciting, Exhausting Adventure

I'm not sure why Jess and I are crazy, but for some reason we decided that the day after we all stayed up super late, we would take the trolley down to Seaport Village. Everyone had a great time and we certainly made some memories, we just underestimated the work that our grand scheme would entail! Since the kids wore the "dinosaur" sweatshirts, they all kept saying we were on the Dinosaur Train! :)

When we changed trained, we had a couple little showdowns about not running around the train platform. It was around this point that I started wondering if we might have made a mistake.

Eventually we made it to Seaport Village, and the kids LOVED the trolley, especially the tunnels. There was plenty to look at in Seaport Village.

By the time we got there, we were all starving, so we just went to the food court.

Joli stayed up until 11:30 last night, when the other kids went to bed around 9:30. She learned a very big lesson in the value of sleep today!
Of course the biggest hit was the Carousel.

After the carousel, we went to the new cupcake place, and grabbed some stuff to take over to the park area. Then we sang Jess "Happy Birthday", before enjoying our treats.

This was my lavender and honey macaroon. It was yummy!
Jess and I laid in the grass while the kids played.

 They played "Hide and Seek".

We also did some cloud watching.

 They sorted through some rocks.
 Climbed some trees.
We also dance to a Frank Sinatra singer.
Finally it was time to head home. Jess got all the boys for a minute.
 Then we got sleepy.

After we got home they all slept for another couple of hours! Such a fun day!
