Baking and a Sick Boy

Wednesday started out pretty nice. Markus read while eating breakfast.

 After going to the store for some bananas, Markus and I made some zucchini brownies.

 After Joli got out of school I took the kids to the new library! Since we had to walk a few blocks, I brought Markus' bike, and was surprised that he could pedal himself!

 The new library was nice. Markus enjoyed playing some of their  games, but I could tell he was beginning not to feel well.

 Joli had a good time though, and was so proud that she is old enough to have her own library card and check books out by herself!

 By the time we got home Markus had a fever and didn't want to do much else but lay on the couch and watch tv.

 On Thursday Markus still wasn't feeling very well, but Joli had a multicultural open house at her school, so our babysitter came over to stay with him so Joli and I could go together.

We had a great time at open house, and learned a lot about other countries!
