On Monday, Markus and I joined our friends Stacy and Justin for some fun at the zoo! We all had such a great time. It was nice getting there first thing in the morning because the animals were all eating breakfast!
We found the silliest birds.
Then we checked out the new koala exhibit! It was pretty cool.
The boys were not quite as entertained by the koalas as we were, and wanted to head off to bigger and better things.
Like a sweet, three week old, baby giraffe!! So cute! Do you see her?
Next the boys wanted to head to the reptile house, so if you don't like to look at snakes (Jess), you might want to skip to the bottom. The snakes were all very lively too!

This was the first time I've ever seen this anaconda not in the water. It was so cool!
I couldn't get a picture, but this cobra kept standing up and flaring its neck out! So neat!
There are so many babies in the zoo right, including the turtles!
Markus always wants to see the big tortoises, so we headed that way.
Then we went in the turtle house.
We all had such a good time, and now that Justin is getting older, the boys are loving playing together! Can't wait to go back and see all the baby flamingos come out of the dozens of eggs we saw before we left!
