Mommy Meet Up

Today we got to take a bus tour at the zoo. Markus was SOOOO excited!!! It was nice to get a new perspective too.

 Then we had to get off the bus to walk through the elephant part. Which I did not know we were going to have to do, so therefore Markus did not know, which did NOT go over very well. I managed to get him through it with only....... six ear-splitting, hit the ground, tantrums. Fortunately, I was able to distract him within a few moments, and they weren't long tantrums. I'll take it as a small light at the end of the tunnel.

 There were many babies to be seen today too! So sweet!

 Then we were told that we could head back to the bus, which seriously altered Markus' mood!

 We saw a few more animals on our trip back.

 Then we had story time and stickers with some friends...

 Markus wanted the "Cookie" sticker.

 We had to go check to see if the flamingos had hatched yet, but there were still eggs on the mounds and no fluffy grey babies.

 Then there was a man giving a talk about a python. We couldn't touch him, but we got pretty close!

 Markus wanted to walk over to the reptile house, so we followed a guide.

 We only saw one section of the snakes, but they were pretty rowdy again.

 We had to go visit our good friend, the Komodo Dragon, before we were both too tired to see anymore. Plus summer has started, which means that being at the zoo after 10am is a complete nightmare. The line to get in was out the the parking lot when we were leaving!
