Birthday Party

Yesterday we had the honor of attending a birthday party for one of Joli's friends from school. She was very excited and so was Markus! There was so much for them to play with!

 Since it was a puppy party, the kids brought their favorite stuffed animal puppies.

 Markus did a pretty good job interacting and not just being the annoying little brother most of the time.

 I spent most of the time making sure Markus didn't wonder off and stayed entertained.

 There was some yummy party food...

 The kids played a fun game called "Puppy Pirate Thieves", I never did figure out exactly what the game entailed.

 The playground was really neat! I wanted to play too!

 Markus is doing his best to be a big kid these days.

 The kids waited so patiently for pinata time!

 The birthday girl brought some make up to play with and both the kids were determined to join in!

 Markus was disappointed when Joli wouldn't put any on him.

 So he went to swing some balls around...

 Then it was pinata time, and Markus knew just what to do!

 After the third kid the puppy burst open and it was all over!

 Then we attempted to herd all the kids together for a picture...

 They were mostly focused on the candy.

 After the birthday girl went through her presents, it was time for "Happy Birthday".

 The kids sat down to eat their cupcakes before Markus crashed.

 He got his second wind for about ten more minutes.

 Then I was reminded once again that Markus is going to need a bike soon! He didn't even care that was pink and Minnie Mouse!

 He obviously has more motivation than his sister, because she still has very little desire to pedal a bike, but he was off!
