The Cowgirl Emerges

Joe and I decided that we would take Joli to a nearby farm to play today. It was not what we were expected of a farm. There was a petting zoo with goats and chickens and rabbits, a hay ride, a pony ride, and strawberry patch, and then those giant bouncy house things. Now that seemed a little bit odd to find at what was supposed to be a working farm. Then we went into the petting zoo, and discovered that some of the chicken were just about featherless and had what looked like a rash, we didn't touch them. The only thing that saved the whole experience was the pony ride, and yes I stuck my baby on a pony, and you know what? She LOVED it!!!
She kept doing the "look mom, no hands" thing.
Smiled almost the entire time, and it was a good 15-20 minutes!
She looks so cute riding off into the er, back of another pony.
Here she comes again, all smiles.
All the other kids were just kind of riding along, but Joli was kicking her feet and bouncing up and down trying to get the pony to go faster. She was even laughing!
See ya later mom!!
Once we got home Joli finally noticed that since I moved the couch she can now get up in the window seat. I put some cushions and some books up there for her to play with too. It's nice to have another little lounge area, and Joli loves to climb up there. She acts like she's getting away with something!
