Early Easter

We decided to celebrate Easter today with Chris, Kacie, Shane, Abby and all the families. We went to Chris and Kacie's because, as I explained to Joli, they have the best "hunting ground". The kids had a great time! We spent most of the late morning and almost the entire afternoon in the backyard, and between the candy, toys, sidewalk chalk and water table, the kids never got bored! Unfortunately my camera was being a little weird so Kacie took a bunch of pictures for me too. Here are the ones she took.

I was able to get some, but then the lens would freak on me again, so here are the ones I took.

We had a great time! The boys shared lots of drinks and lots of stories. Us girls shared a lot of candy and a lot of laughs. Joli was busy as ever. She finally figured out to hide the toys she didn't want the babies to get, she found quiet spots to read and get away, and the only big problem she had was when she backed up into a rose bush! Charlotte finally started walking yesterday and showed off her skills most of the day, only fell on her face once! Syrus was excited to play with his new magnifying glass and spent quite a bit of time eating candy and finding snails. Lilly was little miss independent as usual, and kept wandering off for someone to have to find her. Now we're all a little sun kissed and looking forward to some naps!
