Getting Ready for Easter

Today was a busy day for activities. This morning Joli was bored so I gave her this door hanging to paint.
We wanted to go swimming this afternoon so we waiting until the YMCA had family swim time and then we all went swimming!

Like Joli's new life jacket?
Joli didn't want to go underwater, too bad!

Pretty Blue Eyes

It's so nice to swim with Joli. I can actually play with her and there's no extra back pain or pressure of any kind!
When we got home this little guy was hanging out on our porch.
There was also an Easter box from Grandma Lori and Papa Paul! Joli can't wait to make candy necklaces!
These sidewalk chalk eggs are so cute! Joli can't wait to use them!
Juliet also enjoyed the Easter box! While Joe made dinner, Joli and I filled plastic eggs. I was shocked that she barely ate any of the candy. It was pretty funny watching her pick out the pink jelly beans to fill a pink eggs.
Joli waited all day and finally we were all set up to dye eggs!

Joli didn't quite understand the magic crayon so I did most of it.

Since Joe was making potato salad and deviled eggs, Joli and I agreed to peel them. Joli definitely tried. Joe used those ones in the potato salad!
Another thing I did today was find a bucket to put compost stuff in! They actually had ones that were made to be compost buckets but they were ceramic and I don't trust breakable things in our house! Doesn't it look pretty with all the colored shells!?!?
Here's what it looks like with the lid. Isn't it cute!?!?
Such a crazy day!
