It was so nice having a hotel room across the street from Disneyland. Markus just wanted to check everything out!
We seriously walked out of the hotel, turned left, and there was the crosswalk to Disney!
Today was California Adventure! One of our favorite places is call Off the Page. It's all about the drawings!
There was some cool things in the back lot area too!
Then we headed to the forest area.
Joe and Joli went on an adventure.
Markus had his own!
We went into a magic cave that told us what our spirit animal was. Markus got a bear, Joli got an eagle, I got a wolf, and Joe got a salmon! It was awesome!
There were more fun tunnels to crawl in.
Then we made it to the new Little Mermaid ride! Joli was in awe!
They loved exploring Mickey and Minnie's houses!
We went to find more exciting things and what's more exciting then a drinking fountain!?
A Post office!

We decided to check out some of the souvenir stuff and of course Markus went right for the swords!
The other thing we really wanted to do was see the parade! It was awesome!
The craziest moment was when Peter Pan came and sat by Joli and asked her if she was a princess because she sure looked like one!
After the parade we went to Downtown Disney and ate dinner at House of Blues, and then got our souvenirs! Then Joe had some homework to do, so he took Markus back to the hotel, and Joli and I had some Mommy/daughter time. The first thing we did was get back on the Little Mermaid ride!
During the day it had been really warm and I had wanted to go on the rafting ride, well since there was a big show going on and no one was in line, I convinced Joli to go with me. She hated it! She was so funny about it though. She was in a raft with seven adults and wasn't whining but very matter-of-factly telling everyone what was wrong with the ride and how she would NEVER be going on it again! It was great! I gave her my sweatshirt afterward.
