Markus Is One!!

After singing Happy Birthday to a bright eyed little boy this morning, we let him open his presents from us. He got a flat bed truck with a race car that goes on the back!

He also got a Raggidy Andy.

Then Daddy make Birthday pancakes. Which Markus was very upset when they didn't cool down fast enough.

Then they did, and all was right in the world.

After breakfast we headed to the store and Joli picked out a see and say for Markus, and he picked out a guitar(that he played with throughout the entire store). Then we came home for a nap (and so I could try and finish his new blankie to replace the lost one). Afterwards we had spaghetti and meatballs, and then one last cupcake. Markus actually tried to blow out the candles this time!

As I was cleaning up I handed him the serving spoon. Well he loved it.

Then Markus and Joli took and bath, afterwards Markus crawled around in his birthday suit for awhile.

A relaxing and fun day!
