Just Us

After Sam and Ashley headed home, Joe set to work finishing the wall so I could paint. Markus once again thought he should be involved.

So Joe gave him a putty knife.

Which he ate.

The next day Markus still wasn't feeling very well, so we just stayed home and did stuff around the house. We had a late lunch outside, and Joli and Markus both had a great time!

Joe and Joli jumped on the trampoline for awhile.

Markus watched from the car.

Joe has been teaching Joli all kinds of tricks.

While they all played I went into the garden and discovered that things are actually staring to grow. From seeds!!! These are carrots.

These are beets.

And this is one of many green bean plants!!

My other plants are getting huge! This is squash.

Chamomile.

Lots of lettuce, with parsley and cilantro behind it.

My strawberries are starting to flower too!

Markus is very interesting in the garden. Although I fear he may want to rip things out....

Brody can't wait for the vegetables to start growing so he can reach through and eat them!

Up on the hill I've got about six different kinds of herbs and some lavender!

So fun to watch things grow!!
