While Sam and Ashley were here, Sam and Joe replaced the nasty linoleum floor with tile!!! It started out pretty messy, but I guess that's what demo is!
They got the first layer up the first night.
Unfortunately Joe had to work a bunch during the week, but Sam was awesome and finished demo and laid down the hardybacker the first day. Then the second day he got about half way through laying the tile before Joe got home!
Once Joe was here, he ran and got a tile saw and cut the tiles for Sam to lay. Sam decided to do an awesome inlay in the middle of the kitchen for us!
It came out so nice!!
Our house was kind of a disaster most of the time they were here, but we just kept taking the kids out of the house and doing things where they couldn't get into trouble.
Since Sam had to do most of the demo and laying of the tile, Joe got the job of grouting! He did a great job!
It didn't take long before Joe was all finished and they were sealing the grout!
Doesn't it look great!!!!!!
Joe took Joli outside to play on the trampoline and came back in to everything back in it's place! I love the kitchen now!!
And there's not a hole in the wall anymore!!!
