Grandma's

My grandma Betty's house is the one thing that has always remained the same throughout my life. It has always been home, and when I'm lonely it is always the place I think of. So of course I was thrilled when we arrived to a warm hug, a swing on the porch swing, apple pie, and fresh picked blackberries!

My cousin Josh was also there, and he and Joe had a great time sharing stories about their adventures.
Markus loved running around in the grass and throwing the ball for the dog.

We walked out to the pasture and Markus got to see real cows.

He wasn't too sure what to think about them.

The first thing Joli did was run inside and get in the dress up box!

Markus liked swinging with grandma too!

There were a few apples on grandma's tree, so Markus thought he should try one out.

Havoc had a great time playing in the fields with grandma's dog and Joe.

Havoc still hasn't learned to come back when he's called, so he still gets the long leash.

We had a great time picking berries. Joli learned that picking berries can be pokey!

Markus didn't want to pick them, he just wanted to eat them.

Eventually Markus and Havoc decided to hide in the shade.

After we got about a box of blackberries, we headed back for more swinging and a few more pictures.

Since Markus was getting tired, we said a sad good bye to grandma and went back to Aunt Karen's so he could nap. Joli kept herself busy with the swing.

Then I put the battery in the four wheeler for her.

Havoc also took a nap.

Such a great day!
