The Wedding

Once we all got our act together, we made our way down the aisle!

Markus did a great job...

Until he noticed all the feathers on the ground.

Berkley zeroed in on Sam and bolted down the aisle. Joli was very concerned with distributing all her feathers and was upset that Berkley did not distribute hers!

Then the Bride began her descent.

She was a happy wet mess :)

They were both pretty excited.

Since we were all in the wedding, I volunteered to be on Markus duty. Mostly because I had snacks and a binky in my dress!

We fed each other.

Then it was official!

Sam and Ashley also rededicated themselves to Berkley and their family.

Berkley loves her bracelet!

There was another part of the ceremony in which they made a "rainy day" box, that included love letters to each other and a bottle of wine!

Then we took some more pictures.

Then kids played in the dirt while they waited and were completely filthy by the time we made it inside.

Then it was the reception and the first dance!

Markus sat in my lap for about four speeches, but eventually he just had to dance (while Lucas gave his speech).

Markus made it till about 10pm and then snuggled up and fell asleep.

It didn't last long though and he was right back to dancing!
