Joli has been asking me to have a pool party in the backyard with Syrus, Lilly, and Charlotte since February. So since Charlotte is leaving next week, and it is finally warm (enough), we did it today. The kids were very excited to see each other and put on music and danced and played in Joli's room for awhile.
Joli likes to "help" whenever possible. Most of the time it ends up being less help to me (or anyone but herself), but oh well.
All the kids are playing nicely, and there is Joli rocking out on her ladder...
Lilly pretty much played with the doll house under Joli's bed and avoided the crazy dance moves. Once we were outside she joined in the excitement!
Of course Caroline is the perfect baby and laid on her blanket "cooing" to herself.
Markus is just in love with her.
We sure are going to miss little Miss Charlotte.
The kids were incredibly wild but had a great time.
Charlotte and Lilly shared some down time.
Markus only went down the slide once, but was completely fascinated with the sprinkler.
Unfortunately, Markus somehow twisted his ankle, add that to a full morning at school and an afternoon in the sun with no nap, he ended up in my lap for most of the rest of the day.
It was a lovely loud afternoon!
