Yesterday Joli was in school while Markus had a speech appointment, and we still had a couple hours before we had to pick her up, so we spent some time at the zoo! We're just about past using a stroller but Markus doesn't like to walk a lot, so we brought his bike and his new helmet!
We stopped at the duck pond first.
The turtles were so cute, and there were so many of them!!
The giraffes had a two week old baby! You see her back against the wall?!?! So cute!!
We sat and had a snack while the giraffes had theirs.
On our way to the snakes Markus saw the flamingos and had to stop!
It was pretty crowded, and I was reminded why we don't go in the summer. But otherwise we had a wonderful time!
