We Stayed Home Today

And it was an actually incredibly full day! Abby and Shane finally closed on their house so Abby brought the kids over to play! It was so fun!!

It took Lilly a little while to stop looking for Abby, but she warmed and had a great time!
Markus LOVED the noise and after hanging out and listening to the kids play for awhile, he slept the rest of the time. It was miraculous!
I had a few activities up my sleeve and this one occupied them for almost forty-five minutes!

Joli decided to she needed to rest from all the excitement.
Markus just laid around and listened to the kids play.
Kacie and Charlotte came over to hang out and Lilly thought maybe Charlotte knew how to get out the gate.
Of course Lilly snuck off by herself a couple of times. She came out on the porch to play and I watched her climb in and sit down in the stroller. Then she just sat there, and sat there, and sat there. Finally I asked her if she needed help getting out and she said "yeah". Poor Lilly.
The little girls are finally old enough to play in Joli's room and it's so fun!
Lilly found some good books read... after she threw about twenty on the floor.
Just a little messy.
Charlotte and Lilly were very excited to color with crayons.
The big kids played Hungry Hungry Hippos for after an hour!! It was awesome! It's so cool that they're old enough to play a game together and actually both know how to play and get along!
I was so excited that someone wanted to play in the sand.
Lilly was obsessed with baby gate. I had to teach her how to use it because she got stuck when she first got here she got stuck and I could hear her in the hall saying "help, help".
After lunch the kids got in the pool!
Except Charlotte, she just is not a water fan.

Lilly thought splashing was hilarious! So did Joli.
Joli started to get cold so she laid out in the sun.

Markus woke up so I thought he should got swimming too.
Markus feels the same way about swimming as Charlotte apparently.

Syrus and Lilly thought laying out in the sun was a great idea.

Markus didn't get to lay in the sun, but he was pretty happy with his spot.

Markus has been pretty unhappy with the fact that he can't see us when we set him down, so I tried getting out a new chair that let him look around. It didn't really work out.
Joli and Markus both needed a bath, so they got one together!
We had to have a few well placed toys of course.
While I got Joli out of the bath, Joe gave Markus some tummy time.
These last few pictures are from yesterday but they were so sweet I had to add them in.
I love the look on both their faces.

What a fun day!
