Even though it wasn't actually day eight yet, I knew Joe was going to be home and we had a lot planned for the next day, so I let Joli open both days.
Which was the perfect thing to watch while I got every thing ready for Day Seven's activity!
Joli had seen it before, but still was happy to watch.
Markus loved it! He was very concerned about when the Grinch was a "mean one", and happy when his heart grew!
Any occasion that I can dress up for is a good one!
It was too dark to really take pictures at the parade, but I did get a few. Markus loved that there were no cars in the street and he could play in it. Then when the parade was about to start, he stood on the curb and yelled "move out the way people, parade coming!".
Joli was so happy to have her friend, Daniella, from her class come with her older sister! Her mom and I have become friends, and she was very excited to join us along with the girl's little brother! It was so nice to get to know them more!
At the end of the parade Santa lights up the great big Christmas tree, and the kids were completely insane!!! I don't think we really ended up seeing it lit because Markus had a dirty diaper, Joli was running, ran into some people, and fell, all at the same time! It was a really fun night though!!
