When Markus got up from his nap yesterday, he had the pleasure of opening the package.
They were both very excited and sat and watched the whole thing, while I made dinner and got us ready to go ride the miniature train in Balboa Park!
It's become a very fun little tradition!
Joli wanted to sit with a stuffed animal very badly. So we squeezed in with giraffe!
Markus was SO excited!
It was a ton of fun! While walking out, Joe mentioned that we should go into the zoo and check out Jungle Bells, which is basically the zoo in Christmas lights. So we did!
The only thing about that is all the animals were sleeping! Except the pygmy hippo, which pretty much made the trip! He was swimming back and forth up against the glass and then climbing up on it! It was so cool! Today we stayed home and played in the morning. Markus enjoyed himself.
Once the kids got up from their naps, we headed to the base to watch Rise of the Guardians. It was such a great movie!! Probably one of my favorites now!
