Today was the command's annual Christmas party, which would have been fun just because of these....
Markus decided not to sleep beforehand, so when he wasn't doing EXACTLY what he wanted, he was kind of a pain...
Then it was time for Santa to arrive!
He was coming in by helicopter!!
First came the parachuters!
Then Santa!
After Santa landed, we jumped a little more before checking out what was inside. Markus was all about chatting up the Grinch. Joli hung back by my leg.
Then we decorated some cookies!
Finally we made it over to the "snow". No idea what it actually was, but the kids had a blast!
It started getting really hot and really crowded inside, so we went back to the jumpies.
We couldn't figure out where the food was, and didn't want to deal with the chaos anymore, so we headed to Panera for a little soup before heading home. Markus finally got that nap..
Once we got home the kids got to open the #2 package.
It was supplies for hand print Christmas trees!
I helped Markus with the hand print part, but he did everything else!
Joli's was beautiful of course!
It was an exhausting but lovely day!
