Birch Aquarium

Today we went to the Birch Aquarium with Kacie and Abby. It was cold out and right on the verge on raining so it was the perfect semi-indoor activity.
There was one really big tank and that was our favorite part because the big kids had plenty to look at and the little kids could crawl around and we could sit down!

There were a bunch of different tanks with Jellyfish in them, which lead to a pretty deep conversation about Nemo's dad and Dory jumping on the jellyfish.
The seahorses were so pretty I just couldn't stop taking pictures of them.

This was the view from the outside of the aquarium. Not too bad!
The tide pools were pretty neat but there weren't a lot of fish in them so the kids couldn't really touch like they like to.
I think I've decided that I hate these pants. Joli's got such a skinny little toosh that regular pants just won't stay on her!
This fish looked way cooler in person. It's totally black and white, and the white's so pure it almost looks like someone painted a black fish with white out!
There was one tank that had some small sharks in it, but the kids wanted to play in the big shark more.
More seahorses.
It's hard to tell from the picture, but this seahorse is about the size of a quarter.

We just caught these seadragons as we were walking out but they look like they should be in a fairy tale!
