I think Elena was about 4yrs old in this picture and she just celebrated her 18th birthday. Needless to say, Buffy had a nice long life.
She's been there through a lot of happy and hard times. 
A truly loyal dog that somehow always knew who needed her the most.
We will miss you dear puppy!!!

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that - although I know with an old dog there's also the relief that they aren't suffering, or going to have to go through any suffering. Hugs.
